Erasmus+ Western Balkans “Women’s Communication for Solidarity – WomCom”

Programma ERASMUS+ KA2 –Western Balkan Youth Window

Project Context

In rural areas of the Western Balkans, where strong patriarchal values and gender inequality dominate, young women often face multiple forms of discrimination. Opportunities for communication, exchange and solidarity between young women in these areas and equal women from urban areas in the EU are weak. Improving specific communication skills and the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences, difficulties and good practices between women from different countries and areas can strengthen self-confidence and the active participation of all women involved.
