A multi-level intervention to promote autonomy of refugees once ending the support of the CAS system”


Networking between institutions and bodies involved in the processes of reception and integration, exchange of experiences, training and experimentation of inter-institutional agreements to strengthen the capacity of operators and territorial systems to manage effective reception processes.

INDIRECTS:migrants leaving extraordinary reception centres and holding a residence permit for international or humanitarian protection with the possibility of internship and/or work placement

General objective

To create a multi-level and multi-professional network to build responses to the housing, integration and social and work inclusion needs of migrants leaving the Centres of Extraordinary Reception and holding a residence permit for international or humanitarian protection, aiming to create a sufficient and sustainable housing supply and a network of people, individuals, associations, movements, institutions, that supports and activates processes of social and work inclusion of the target migrants, supporting their paths of autonomy.

Specific objectives

  • Provide dignified and sustainable housing responses to migrants with job prospects that bring together the construction part with interventions, pathways and initiatives for integration and inclusion that make it economically sustainable
  • To plan and promote a logic of intervention based on the reuse, renovation and urban regeneration of residential buildings in disuse or with difficulty to be rented present in the territory of intervention
  • Strengthen the network and support skills to officials and operators of public and private social institutions working with the project target also through an exchange of models and experiences gained in different territories that address similar needs
  • To reduce the number of homeless and emergency migrants living in the territory, also improving the perception of territorial security and public order;
  • To carry out transversal interventions of orientation, training and socio-working accompaniment addressed to the territory and to the direct recipients in order to favour inclusion.
