Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October GEA hosted the representatives of nine European partners for the kick off meeting of the project “The New Europeans – lights and shadows of the European Union’s future through the eyes of the present and future young citizens”, funded by the Europe program Citizens 2015 on priorities democratic engagement and civic participation. Main objective of the project, which will involve youngsters between 16 and 30 years from 9 European countries, is to promote an active debate on the future of the European Union, civic participation and citizenship rights among young Europeans and young people living in Europe currently excluded from the exercise of citizenship rights.
