WHO

Gea is a nonprofit social cooperative founded in Padua in 2004.

PARTNERSHIPS AND SKILLS

The organization has developed experience and expertise and structured collaborations with public and private social services, particularly in the areas of institutional capacity building for health protection, countering educational realities and intercultural education, education, empowerment, rights protection, training, participation and active citizenship, and anti-discrimination, with specific attention to women, youth and children.

CO-DESIGN AND INTERVENTIONS

The Cooperative implements project activities through diversified working tools, such as planning and direct management of actions at national and European levels, support and advice to institutions and cooperative and associative realities, multi-level and multi-professional networking between public institutions and the third sector, and promotion of territorial participation. The interventions and skills of the cooperative's professionals are dedicated, through planning, the implementation of complex interventions: social and linguistic-cultural mediation, management of reception services and direct support to vulnerable groups, involvement and empowerment of target groups, diversifying devices, languages, interventions (sports, art, culture...).

RESULTS

The implementation of territorial activities and participation in national and international programs have contributed to the building of a wide network at the local and European levels of established and structured partnerships with national and international institutional and societal bodies in multiple areas of intervention.
